Maritime Jobs Mean Hard Work

Working on a commercial vessel is hard work. The notion of working on the water
can suggest a world of freedom, independence and excitement. Hollywood is partly
responsible for this perception, with the merchant sailor depicted in romantic and
adventurous settings against a backdrop of exotic ports, beautiful women and
thrilling situations. Anyone who ever spent a midnight shift at a busy container
